Green Teas
Green tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis (the tea plant) and is not withered or oxidized, though there are still many variations in how it is created that lead to different green teas having vastly different flavor profiles. Many believe that green tea is bitter, but this is often a result of the tea being steeped at too high a temperature or for too long—the label will include our suggested steeping times and temperatures. In terms of flavor, there are vegetal green teas, light green teas with a touch of sweetness in the finish, "nutty" green teas (that are nut-free), roasted green teas, and more—come explore!
This category contains all teas that we carry with green tea as an ingredient, including blends where green tea is mixed with other teas or herbs.
