The Mind-Body-Spirit Approach to Stress Management

There is no escape from stress. Stressful situations are everywhere, and they can take a toll on our lives in many ways including physical illness, emotional upheaval, lack of focus and productivity, and much more. It's how we react to stress that makes all the difference in the impact stress has on us and the quality of our lives.

In this one-hour workshop you will learn how to:
- take control of your mind and thoughts to view stressful situations differently
- use specific foods and exercise as powerful tools to combat stress
- engage your own spirit as a benevolent partner to create more peace in your life.

You will also learn how to create a personalized stress-management plan to have ready for the next time stress hits.

Peggy Hughes, CLC
Caroline Fornshell, MS, RD, CPT

Peggy Hughes is a certified life coach and founder of ConsciousLivingCoaching.com. She works primarily with women who are looking to make transformative changes and overcome the blocks that hold them back so they can live the lives they desire and deserve with no regrets. Peggy is also the resident life coach at LWell, where she leads lifestyle workshops on a variety of topics, facilitates coaching groups, and offers on-on-one coaching. 

Caroline Fornshell is the co-founder of LWell and is passionate about her work. By incorporating all the components of a weight loss program in a warm and friendly, hospitality-oriented fitness and wellness facility, she can do what she does best: guide people toward improved health by improving nutrition, fitness, fun, stress, sleep and support. Caroline has implemented and improved diabetes and weight loss programs in a wide range of settings including B-Defined Personal Training and Wellness, Sentara Healthcare, and Johns Hopkins.
