Senna is one of the world's oldest and most commonly-used herbal remedies for acute constipation. Our powdered senna leaf is FDA-approved for laxative use, but more potent than senna fruits or seeds and should not be used on a long-term basis. Sold in one ounce quantities.

Do not use this product if your constipation symptoms are combined with abdominal pain or diarrhea, or if you have chronic abdominal inflammation. Consult a healthcare provider prior to use if you are taking heart medications or anticoagulants, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Discontinue use in the event of diarrhea or watery stools. This herb should not be given to young children and the elderly without medical supervision.
