Like the seasons and all things in life, change arrives and is inevitable. So too does change come for us here at Discover Teas. Almost 7 years ago, Chris Farishon and myself founded a local tea shop. Discover Teas has blossomed into so much more than our original dreams, and now that dream will be passed on to long-time employees Mai-Anh and Emily as they take it to the next level. All of the official WellTeaing herbal blends I created for Discover Teas will continue to be available, and I will be available as well via e-mail and Facebook to answer any questions you may have about herbs and herbal health. Soon, I hope to also set up the ability to do online and in-person herbal consultations for a minimal fee.

I have tremendous faith in Mai-Anh and Emily. They are both very knowledgeable about the herbals and the wonderful teas we carry. I have absolute faith that the experiences you have had with Discover Teas will continue. I too am longing for change however, and so I will be moving onto to a variety of new pastures as I plan to retire, travel, camp and perhaps blog about herbs and alternative healthcare. Over the years many have asked me to write books on everything from cooking with teas to health care tips with herbs. I never had the time to write with so much going on during the last 7 years. In retirement I will finally have the time to write my books, blog about herbs and camp free in this beautiful country. I intend to continue being available by e-mail at teadoc.ken@gmail.com. I also will be starting my own Facebook page, Offerings of Love, and invite you all to stay in touch.

I would like to say Thank You to everyone who has touched my life or whose lives I have touched sharing my knowledge and information as well as my passion for all things health related. The last seven years have been so fulfilling for my heart and spirit. Over the years many of you have become like family to me. I have watched your children grow up coming into the shop. I have been there when doctors could not answer questions or just helped you find a passion and love of great teas. Together we have walked through hard times with health issues, celebrations of new life and shared many cups of bliss. May the bliss always fill your cup and I hope you all know you have been an amazing part of my life and you will never be forgotten.
